These Terms of Use govern the interaction between Users accessing the https://angkor-go.com/ Platform and the Platform Owner.
Users who do not agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy must discontinue using the Angkor Go website in any manner.
If a User accesses the Platform on behalf of an organization, they accept these Terms and warrant that they have the requisite authority.
Any action taken to use the Platform, including browsing information, submitting a tour selection or booking request, or leaving a Review, constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. By continuing to use the Angkor Go website, the User agrees to the current version of the Terms and Privacy Policy. New versions of these documents take effect upon publication on the website.
1. Terms and Definitions
"Angkor Go" Information Platform (Service, Website, Platform) — a website located on the Internet at https://angkor-go.com/, acting as an online catalog and aggregator of information about excursion and tourist services in the Kingdom of Cambodia. The Service provides functionality to browse offers and submit Requests to contact Providers.
Personal Data Controller — a legal or natural person that processes personal data. When you visit our website, we become the controller of your personal data.
Processing of Personal Data — performing any actions on personal data (collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification, use, transfer, deletion, etc.).
Platform Owner — Angkor Go, a company registered at 232 Lok Taneou Street, Siem Reap, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, being the owner of the information service and an information intermediary. The Platform Owner does not independently provide excursion or tourist services, does not act as a tour operator or travel agent, and is not an employer of the Organizers.
Authorized Representative of the Platform Owner in the Russian Federation — self-employed citizen of the Russian Federation Vladimir Evgenievich Sungorov, TIN 702408609289 (correspondence address: Tomsk Region, Seversk, Kommunistichesky Ave., 127, apt. 3), acting on the basis of an agency agreement for the purpose of interaction with Roskomnadzor and data subjects in the territory of the Russian Federation.
User (Traveler) — any legally competent individual who has reached 18 years of age and gained access to the Platform.
Organizer (Provider) — an independent local guide, tour guide, or transport company that is a tax resident of the Kingdom of Cambodia, publishing information about its services on the Platform. The Organizer is solely responsible for the quality and safety of the services provided.
Content — text, graphics, and other information provided by Users or Organizers (including reviews, photos, and itinerary descriptions).
Listing — information material about a tour, multi-day trip, or transfer published on the Platform, including route descriptions, conditions, duration, pricing, and potential additional expenses.
Service — an excursion service, transfer, or package of tour programs conducted by the Organizer in Cambodia under the terms set forth in the Listing. The service contract is concluded directly between the User and the Organizer.
Request — a User's query sent via the website feedback form, email, or messaging apps, aimed at receiving consultation, clarifying details, or booking a Service for a specific date.
Traveler Review — a subjective comment or rating left by a User regarding a completed Service, expressing the author's opinion on the quality and organization of the program.
2. Subject Matter and Nature of Activities
2.1. The Platform Owner provides Users with free access to the information catalog on the website https://angkor-go.com/ to search, explore, and select excursion programs in Cambodia.
2.2. The Angkor Go website does not require registration procedures and does not create personal user accounts. Communication and submission of Requests are conducted via contact forms, messaging apps, and email.
2.3. The Platform Owner acts solely as an information intermediary providing technological and communication capabilities to connect the Traveler with an independent Organizer (a tax resident of Cambodia).
2.4. The Platform Owner does not derive revenue directly from the provision of excursion services and is not a party to the transaction concluded between the User and the local Provider.
2.5. Searching and viewing Listings on the website are completely free for Users.
3. Legal Status of the Platform and Limitation of Liability
3.1. The Platform Owner is not a tour operator or travel agent, does not form travel packages, does not provide excursion services independently, and bears no liability for the actions or omissions of Organizers during tours within the territory of Cambodia.
3.2. Any agreements regarding program arrangements, schedules, additional options, and final payments are reached directly between the User and the Organizer.
3.3. The Platform Owner exercises reasonable efforts to verify the accuracy of information published in Listings, but does not guarantee the absolute precision of all descriptions, accompanying visual materials, or subjective ratings.
3.4. The Platform Owner is not liable for temporary service disruptions caused by technical issues, scheduled maintenance, or actions of third parties (hosting providers, ISP networks).
3.5. Under all circumstances, the Platform Owner's liability to the User is limited to an amount not exceeding 10,000 (ten thousand) Russian rubles, and arises only upon proven fault of the Platform Owner established by a court of law.
3.6. The Platform Owner reserves the right to remove any Listing or restrict access to website functionality upon detecting violations of applicable law or these Terms.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1. All intellectual property items available on the website https://angkor-go.com/ (including texts, design elements, logos, data structures, and software code) belong to the Platform Owner Angkor Go or are used on lawful grounds.
4.2. Automated data collection (scraping/parsing), copying website materials, and using the Angkor Go brand name without prior written consent from the Platform Owner are strictly prohibited.
4.3. By leaving a review or submitting text or photo materials via contact forms, the User grants the Platform Owner a royalty-free, worldwide license to use such content for publication on the website and for marketing purposes of the Service.
5. Rights and Obligations of Users
5.1. The User agrees to provide accurate contact information (name, phone number, email address) when submitting Requests through the website.
5.2. When using the Service, the User is prohibited from:
— submitting false, offensive, defamatory, or unlawful information;
— impersonating another person without proper authorization;
— attempting to compromise the technical security of the website;
— using the contact details of local hosts for unauthorized promotional mailings (SPAM).
5.3. Users are solely responsible for complying with the laws of their country of residence and the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia while on excursion routes.
5.4. The Platform Owner reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to moderate and determine the display order of reviews on the website, including temporarily restricting public access to specific reviews to verify their authenticity. By posting a review, the User agrees to this procedure.
5.5. The User understands that Reviews form a trust system and rating for local Organizers. A review posted for a provided Service cannot be deleted at the author's request (including cases of subsequent dispute resolution between the User and the Organizer), except as provided by applicable law.
5.6. The Platform Owner may delete or edit a Review if it contains profanity, third-party personal data, extremist or defamatory statements, or was submitted by someone who did not use the Services.
5.7. In the Listing description, the Organizer specifies additional expenses that are not included in the base information fee and are paid by the User directly at the location of service provision in Cambodia (entrance tickets to the Angkor Wat temple complex, national parks, meals, personal expenses, etc.).
6. Request Procedure and Absence of Registration
6.1. Registration and creation of personal user accounts are not provided on the Angkor Go website. All search, itinerary browsing, and request submission services are offered without account creation.
6.2. To book a Service or obtain consultation, the User fills out a contact form on the website or contacts us via specified instant messengers and email. Submitting the form constitutes the User's express intent to receive information and their acceptance of these Terms.
6.3. Submission of Requests by minors (persons under 18 years of age) without the consent of parents or legal guardians is not permitted.
6.4. The User undertakes to provide accurate and truthful contact information. The User assumes all risks associated with errors in the provided contact data that may prevent communication or tour organization.
6.5. In order to process Requests and arrange contact with the local Provider, the Platform Owner processes the minimum necessary personal data (name, contact phone number, email address, inquiry details) in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
7. Representations of Organizers and Tour Conditions
7.1. All tour organizers and providers presented on the website are independent local contractors and tax residents of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The Platform Owner provides an information platform for connecting the Customer and the Provider.
7.2. By publishing program information on the Angkor Go website, the Organizer warrants that they possess the necessary knowledge, qualifications, and permits required to conduct excursions under the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
7.3. The Organizer undertakes to inform the User in advance in the program description about route features, clothing requirements (including dress codes for visiting Buddhist temples in Cambodia), physical fitness levels, weather conditions, and safety rules.
7.4. Users acknowledge that all travel and excursion activities involve inherent risks related to weather conditions, climate, transport, and physical activity. By purchasing a Service from a local Organizer, the User voluntarily assumes these risks. The Platform Owner shall not be held liable for health conditions, injuries, or property loss incurred by the User during excursions conducted by local providers.
7.5. The Platform Owner is not responsible for the quality, safety, or composition of food and beverages provided by the Organizer or purchased by the User during tours. The User is solely responsible for informing the Organizer about any allergies or dietary restrictions.
7.6. The Organizer and the User agree to comply with the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia during the provision and receipt of Services.
8. Dispute Resolution
8.1. All claims regarding the quality, completeness, execution, or safety of excursion services shall be submitted by the User directly to the local Organizer (Provider) in accordance with the laws of the place of service provision (Kingdom of Cambodia).
8.2. Claims regarding the operation of the Angkor Go information service and data transmission should be sent via email to: main@angkor-go.com.
8.3. Relations with the authorized representative in the Russian Federation regarding personal data are governed by the laws of the Russian Federation. Matters concerning the provision of excursion services by local providers are subject to the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
9. Final Provisions
9.1. If one or more provisions of these Terms are found invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this document.
9.2. Any use of the website by the User confirms their full awareness of and agreement with these Terms.
9.3. The Platform Owner reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time without prior individual notice. The new version takes effect upon its publication on the website https://angkor-go.com/.
9.4. All official correspondence between the User and the Platform Owner shall be conducted via email:
— for the Platform: main@angkor-go.com;
— for the User: the email address provided when submitting a Request via the contact form.
9.5. Electronic messages and documents sent from authorized email addresses are recognized as signed with an analogue of a handwritten signature and possess full legal effect.
