Personal Data Processing Policy

In this document, Angkor Go, registered at 232 Lok Taneou Street, Siem Reap, Siem Reap Province, Cambodia (hereinafter the Operator) (also referred to as “we”, “us”, “our”) describes how personal data of visitors to https://angkor-go.com/ is processed.
Important note on the nature of the business: The Angkor Go website is an information service (platform). The Operator is not a tour operator or travel agent, does not independently provide excursion or tourism services, and does not receive income from the direct provision of such services. The primary purpose of the website is to provide an information and technology connection between Customers (website users) and independent local service providers (guides, tour creators, drivers) who are tax residents of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
The person authorized to act on behalf of the Operator under an agency agreement for the purpose of fulfilling the Operator’s obligations under the Federal Law “On Personal Data” and facilitating effective communication with Roskomnadzor and data subjects is self-employed Vladimir Evgenyevich Sungorov, Tax ID 702408609289, correspondence address: Tomsk Region, Seversk, Kommunistichesky Prospekt, 127, Apt. 3.

We place great importance on protecting your privacy and the security of your personal data. Please carefully review this Personal Data Processing Policy (hereinafter the Policy) to understand the purposes for which we process your personal data and how you may exercise your rights regarding that data.
1. About Personal Data and Your Rights When It Is Processed
Personal data — any information that directly or indirectly relates to you or makes it possible to identify you.
Personal data operator — a legal entity or individual that processes personal data. When you visit our website, we become the operator of your personal data.
Processing of personal data — performing any actions with personal data (collection, recording, organization, accumulation, storage, updating, use, transfer, deletion, etc.).
Under the Federal Law “On Personal Data”, you have the right to:
- to access your personal data;
- to correct your personal data;
- to block and delete your personal data;
- to appeal our actions or inaction;
- to appeal decisions made solely on the basis of automated processing of your personal data;
- to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data.
2. How Can You Exercise Your Rights?
You may send an official request to the postal address of our authorized representative (Tomsk Region, Seversk, Kommunistichesky Prospekt, 127, Apt. 3), stating details of the document identifying you or your representative (document type, series and number, issuing authority and date), your full name or your representative’s full name, information about the nature of your relationship with us confirming that we process your personal data, and your personal signature.
You may also send a request to our email address: main@angkor-go.ru as an electronic document signed in accordance with Russian Federation legislation on electronic signatures, or as a scanned copy of a written application.
3. Why Do We Process Your Personal Data?
For the purposes listed below, we collect, record, organize, accumulate, store, update (revise, modify), retrieve, use, transfer (provide access to local service providers in Cambodia for service organization), block, delete and destroy your personal data.
3.1. Processing Tour Selection Requests and Consultations
If you need help choosing a program or information about your trip, you may contact us or submit a request on the website. During our communication, we may process the following data:
- name;
- contact method (phone number, email address or messenger username/account);
- message text and information from your request.
The data processed does not belong to special categories or biometric data (under Articles 10–11 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ) and is processed by automated and non-automated means.
Legal basis: your initiative in submitting a request and taking pre-contractual measures under Clause 5, Part 1, Article 6 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ, as well as acceptance of the Terms of Use.
Retention period: if no booking results from the request, the data is destroyed 30 days after the request has been reviewed. If service terms are agreed, the data is retained for the duration of the interaction and for 3 years afterward to protect the Operator’s legal interests.
3.2. Forwarding Requests and Booking Tours with Local Service Providers
When you submit a request or book a specific tour/program through the Angkor Go website for information to be forwarded to a local service provider (a tax resident of Cambodia), we may process the following personal data:
- name (or first and last name);
- email address;
- contact phone number / messenger username;
- desired date and time of the program;
- number of participants;
- your comment or special requests for the booking.
Transfer to third parties: the specified data is transferred directly to the local service provider in Cambodia who will provide the selected service, solely to enable direct communication between you and the provider.
Legal basis: your initiative to enter into and perform a contract/agreement for services with a local service provider (Clause 5, Part 1, Article 6 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ).
3.3. Deposits / Online Payments and Financial Settlements
If a deposit or payment is required to secure a booking, payment data is processed by third-party certified online payment services. The Operator **does not collect, process or store** full bank card details or banking credentials.
We only receive information confirming successful payment, the payment amount, and a masked card number (the first 6 and last 4 digits) provided by the payment aggregator.
Legal basis: performance of the booking agreement and requirements of accounting and tax legislation.
Payment data retention: information about completed transactions is retained for 5 years in accordance with tax and accounting legislation.
3.4. Refunds
If a booking is canceled and a refund is arranged through communication channels (email main@angkor-go.ru or messengers), we may process:
- first and last name;
- contact phone number and email;
- bank account / card details for the refund;
- information about the original order and refund amount.
Legal basis: compliance with the Refund Policy and requirements of Russian Federation law.
Retention period: data is retained for 5 years from the date of the financial transaction.
3.5. Processing Incoming Support Requests
When you contact us by email at main@angkor-go.ru or through the messengers listed on the website, we process the data you provide (name, contact details, question text) solely to resolve your request
Legal basis: the Operator’s legitimate interest in providing high-quality service and user support (Clause 7, Part 1, Article 6 of Federal Law No. 152-FZ).
Retention period: requests and correspondence are destroyed 30 days after the issue has been fully resolved.
Data Security
Personal data that we collect and store is considered confidential information. It is protected against loss, alteration or unauthorized access in accordance with Russian Federation personal data legislation. We use technical and organizational measures for this purpose and continuously improve our data protection systems.
Policy Changes
We reserve the right to amend our Policy at any time. We ask you to review updates to our Policy regularly. If changes are material, we will notify you of those changes through the means available to us.
