The Small Circuit is a complete collection of the greatness of Khmer architecture, a route that connects the most significant masterpieces of the Angkor Empire. It is the perfect way to leisurely immerse yourself in the golden age of Khmer civilization and appreciate the skill of ancient architects in one day. Every stop here is a separate chapter of a grand history.

Our journey will begin with Angkor Wat — the temple whose name has become a symbol of Cambodia. We will not just see the architectural masterpiece depicted on the national flag, but also unravel the secret meanings hidden in the bas-reliefs. Angkor Wat is the main jewel of the complex, and we will dedicate enough time to it to feel the grandeur of this place.

Next, Angkor Thom awaits us — a huge fortress city that became the final chord of the greatness of the Khmer Empire.
Bayon
Here we will meet the mysterious faces of Buddha, frozen in stone. Forty-nine towers and hundreds of serene smiles create the atmosphere of a mystical ancient capital where time seems to have stopped.
Terrace of the Leper King
We will learn the legends and myths associated with this mysterious structure, which, according to one version, was used as a royal crematorium.
Ta Prohm
We will end the day in the embrace of the jungle. Ta Prohm is a temple left at the mercy of nature, where the giant roots of behemoth trees have literally merged with the ancient masonry. Here, the eternal confrontation between nature and architecture is felt especially sharply.

The Small Circuit is much more than a tour of the ruins. It is an opportunity to touch history, feel like a real explorer, and see the most perfect masterpieces of Khmer architecture.

Banteay Srei: The Jewel of Pink Sandstone

Banteay Srei is often called the “Citadel of Women” or the “Flower of Angkor.” This small temple, located just 45 minutes from Siem Reap, is completely different from the monumental grandeur of Angkor Wat.

This place is a real triumph of grace and detail.

Banteay Srei is built of rare pink sandstone, which at dawn and sunset acquires warm, almost magical shades. Thanks to the miniature size of the temple, ancient masters were able to create incredibly fine, almost jewelry-like carving.

You will see scenes from Hindu mythology executed with such precision and detail that the stone resembles the finest wood inlay. It is here that the most exquisite carving among all the temples of the Khmer Empire has been preserved.

Banteay Srei is a must-see part of the route for those who appreciate beauty, the subtlety of art, and want to see the refined, “feminine” side of the ancient Khmer heritage.
